Fairy Tail the Movie Phoenix Priestess Japanese FAIRY TAIL , Hepburn Gekijban Fear Teiru H no Miko? is a 2012 Japanese animated fantasy action film based on the shnen manga and anime series Fairy Tail by Hiro Mashima. It was directed by Masaya Fujimori, and its screenplay was written by anime staff writer Masashi Sogo, while Mashima was involved as the films story planner and character designer. The film stars the regular television cast of Tetsuya Kakihara, Aya Hirano, Rie Kugimiya, Yichi Nakamura, Sayaka hara, Satomi Sat, and Yui Horie. The film also features Aya End as the titular priestess clair, and Mika Kanai as her birdlike companion Momon. The film was released in Japan on August 18, 2012, and on Bluray and DVD in North America on December 10, 2013.

clair tells Lucy and her friends that she has amnesia, only remembering that she must bring her Phoenix Stone to a wizard named Kalard , Kardo? living in Boundary Forest. They eventually reach the remains of Kalards house to find he is long dead. Through a holographic message, Kalard reveals himself to be clairs father and tells her of a spell he created to dispel the stones cursed magic. After Lucy empathizes with her over her own fathers death, clair warms herself to Fairy Tail and requests them to fulfill her fathers last wish.Shortly after they return home, their guildhall is besieged by Dist , Disuto? , the leader of the Carbuncle guild, and his henchmen Chase , Cheisu? , Cannon , Kyanon? , and Coordinator , Kdint? , who kidnap clair. Fairy Tails master Makarov Dreyar and guildmates Gajeel Redfox and Panther Lily arrive with news that Carbuncle is working for Duke Cream , Kurmuji? , the ruler of the neighboring country of Veronica, who plans to combine clairs stone with the one in his possession to summon a phoenix that will grant him immortality. ........
